A Texas native, she earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed her Internship and Residency at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. Thereafter, she returned to San Antonio and has been a practing Internist and Hospitalist for 15 years.
In addition to being Medical Director of Ageless Effects MediSpa, Dr. Lopez has her own private medical clinic, which is also home to her highly successful New Beginnings Diet Clinic.
While in private practice, Dr. Lopez began to expand her medical knowledge with the growing field and superior benefits of cosmetic laser treatments. She thoroughly enjoys what she does and feels very rewarded by the satisfaction her patients receive at the Medical spa.
Eva Lopez is married with two teenage daughters and, when she's not at the MediSpa or her private office, enjoys spending time with her family, watching old movies, and competing in figure skating competitions. She is currently President of the San Antonio Figure Skating Club.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Lorna Scharf worked in a medical laboratory at Wilford Hall Medical Center before accepting a research grant to the University of Maryland at College Park in 2002. Exposed to numerous new medical procedures and the growing concern among the general public to turn back the signs of aging, she founded Ageless Effects MediaSpa in an effort to provide the highest quality skin care products, skin treatments and therapies, and laser hair removal. Lorna holds a degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, along with multiple certifications for skin therapy and rejuvenation.
